SAS Martial Arts academy has given me great opportunities over my years of training to develop my strength, health and confidence. Since I started to trained I have visibly become a lot fitter, stronger and have developed better stress coping mechanisms thanks to regular practice of Qi Qong in class. I have even found myself using wing chun basic forms to calm me during stressful days at work or to re-focus my energy before important meetings.

I have been training here since the age of 13 and I think I can honestly say these have been the best years of my life. I would recommend this academy to anyone no matter their age, gender or background.

I’ve been training with SAS Martial Arts for over 8 years now. The academy has a really positive atmosphere and sense of community spirit. The instructors are dedicated and inspiring. Training with the academy has definitely influenced my life beyond learning self-defence – you learn a lot about yourself and about extending your limits. There’s a real ethos at the school that everyone can fulfil their potential.
Fitness with a purpose!

I joined SAS in 2012 with the desire to join a martial arts school to help release the stresses that come with having a typically busy London lifestyle. 9 years later what I have gained is so much more; an extended family, a skill set and a philosophy that will live with me forever. It’s not always been easy, but nothing worth having ever is and if you truly want to know what sort of person you are, join us for a class! But just remember, pain is temporary whilst quitting lasts forever.

Master Andrew Sofos guidance has inspired me to think positively and the kung fu has helped me develop emotional resilience. This has helped me deal with my weight problems so that I was able to lose over 30Kg in a year.

When I came to SAS Martial Arts school I was looking to get some self-defence techniques but I received a lot more in terms of body, mind and spirit. I strengthened my mind during a time when I was struggling with a complicated situation in my business. It provided me with spiritual growth and positive decision making. Wing-Chun training, Tai Chi and Qi Gong literally helped me through the pandemic period; it was hard but the breathing exercises and meditation helped me to stay calm and strong.
SAS School is not only a place to practice sport, but a warm and friendly community where I’ve met different cultures and made lots of friends from different parts of the world. This is amazing and I’m grateful for this experience.
